In a heartwarming collaboration, the Professional Models Association of the Philippines (PMAP) teamed up with the local government unit (LGU) of Bulacan on April 2, 2023, with the mission to breathe new life into a barren space located in Baliwag City. However, the joint effort wasn’t just about planting trees but envisioning a green space where residents could escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and simply enjoy their time. The goal was to help transform that space into a relaxing park for all locals to unwind in.
Spearheading the environmental charge, Sprinto, who is also passionate about saving the environment, stepped in with shades that went beyond mere fashion statements. Providing eye protection for participants, Sprinto’s shades became symbolic shields against the sun, underscoring the collaborative commitment to creating a more sustainable space.
In addition to them, Tita Bebot’s special pancit Malabon and pancit lomein became a great support during this endeavor as their food became the much-needed fuel for our green warriors. More than just a gastronomic delight, Tita Bebot’s contribution embodied the essence of community care, demonstrating how local businesses of any kind can play a pivotal role in fostering environmental initiatives.
And to top it off, Coffee & Chill came in to supply all of our participants with a much-needed caffeine fix to keep their energy up under the blazing sun. Their delicious coffee not only fueled the planting efforts but also created moments of connection and shared laughter, turning the activity into an even livelier community gathering.
The tree planting event was both fulfilling and enjoyable, as it celebrated collaboration and community spirit. PMAP, LGU of Bulacan, Sprinto, Tita Bebot, and Coffee & Chill worked together in their own unique ways to paint a vision of a transformed space and contribute to it. A space where both nature and people can coexist harmoniously.
As the first saplings take root, we are excited to see the lasting impact of this small act on a sunny afternoon. We hope that beyond simply planting trees, this event sows the seeds for a future thriving and interconnected community, ready to bloom and flourish.
