The IT PMAP Squad

The PMAP Squad proves that it pays to be in a clique.  It consists of up-and-coming models from PMAP who broke into the fashion industry individually but shot to fame as a clique. They are Jach Manere, Julls Culas, Lou Yanong, Hannah Locsin and Kenn Bosch.  These five are REAL friends and hang out with each other when not modeling. Check out their profiles as featured in Preview.ph.

Hoops For Hope

PMAP participated in a special basketball exhibition game last November 26, 2016.  It was the wish of a recipient of Make A Wish Foundation. For this charity, celebrities and models participated in a friendly exhibition game to the delight of children with autism. This event was to celebrate the birthday of one of the special children and to raise awareness for the autistic children. Though our PMAP boys didn’t win, it was a very close match as the game went into overtime.

If you are interested to donate or make a child’s wish come true, please contact Make A Wish Philippines through the following:

Painting for Life with Child Haus

The Professional Models Association of the Philippines is committed in helping the less fortunate by doing annual charities. This is our way of giving back to society. For this year, we partnered with Child Haus Foundation.  Last Nov. 6, PMAP held a mass, provided lunch for the kids and their guardians, and ended with a painting and art activity entitled “PAINTING FOR LIFE”. It was a fun-filled day as both the children and PMAP models enjoyed the activity.

Child Haus is a temporary shelter for indigent patients who have cancer or other dreaded diseases.  The foundation provides free room and board to its residents while undergoing medical treatement.  For those who wish to extend their help and for additional information, call 906-4395 and 906-4295.  Child Haus is located in 1448 Agoncillo St. Paco, Manila, Philippines.

A very special thank you to our teacher for the workshop, Ms. Meg Entrata.

I AM PMAP Campaign

For 28 years, PMAP has been the only non-profit organization established by models and has always been run by models themselves. The organization has continued to aspire in protecting, uplifting, and professionalizing the modeling industry in the Philippines, as well as highlighting the best that the country has to offer. Our aim has always been to develop and stabilize national and international awareness for aggregate participation and involvement in the competitive field of modeling. Our organization, for the last two decades, has been a key force in the development and success of the local fashion industry.

The newly elected PMAP board will build on the PMAP legacy with its two-year campaign:

“I AM PMAP”

The campaign highlights the new generation of models who are smart, multi-tasking people, involved with various projects and advocacy.  PMAP aims to improve the overall image of models as more than just a pretty face.  Below are the photos of some of our active models and their chosen description about themselves.
